I put TL072s in this and it works perfectly and sounds great. I'll probably try OPA2134s eventually to see if there's a big difference, but for anyone curious, the TL072s are just fine and ~$25 cheaper.

excellent info, we'll see what I end up using for my build but this gives me confidence it'll sound great. I love Brian's YouTube channel so I'm excited to finally build one of his pedals.
