Wampler Phenom

Between the two pedals announced today I think the Phenom is the more interesting of the two, Brian Wampler says it’s a JFET circuit that’s similar-to-but-not-quite a 5150 AIAB.

I think it’s pretty fantastic-sounding in this demo (as good as most JFET AIABs I’ve tried or built and better than many, regardless of price) and would love to see what makes it tick

I like the way both pedals sound. Would be interested in what the Triumph is based on. I think the Phenom sounds more flexible and nuanced (at least in the demo) than any other "Eddie in a Box" type pedal.

SD-1 according to the video he posted.

Yeah it seems to be doing the dynamic AIAB thing super well! Comparable gain range to the Golden Falk I’d say (probably a little more but similar where I would use it), but hopefully with more flexible EQ
