What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I got this EHX Bass Preacher compressor for pocket change since it’s not working. Took it apart and this voltage regulator starts cooking as soon as it’s plugged in. Going to try replacing it to see if that does the trick. Can’t seem to find a schem anywhere. I don’t know if it’s even a good pedal or not.

That's a good place to start. Nothing seems too out of place on this side of the board. How does the other side look?

It’s super clean. I removed the pots to test them and replaced the diode before I realized the IC. Not much to the flipside. Footswitch is good too.

I’m working on building an E6 capacitor set. I put together an E12 1/8w resistor set last night, I will work on the E12 1/4w set next. I kept starting new boards hoping I would have the parts to build them. I’m now on board 7 and haven’t had the parts to complete any. Time to work on being more organized. Pots, OPs, diodes and everything else will come next.

Unfortunately i also need more plastic washers. They always put only one White Washer for each 3PDT, when 3 or 4 would be very much appreciated, in order to increase the shock-absortion feature inside the enclosure, and fully enjoy their amazing looks on the outside of the enclosure.
Fellow white washer enthusiast. I enjoy them so much I have branched out and now make them in other colors as well. 1704854210494.jpeg
Also white dust covers to go with the white washers.

Quick- I need 5 white washers, STAT!!
In case of emergency, there are always some pipe seals available in every home. Just break a few walls in your bathroom, you'll quickly find something inside the pipes that will nicely fit your 3PDT.

Bathtub and faucets are full of opportunities. It won't be as satisfying as the real thing, but at least you won't damage your footswitch.

Getting ready to try again on the graphics for my phase shifter pedal. This was my first attempt at a film-free waterslide, and I baked it too hot for too long. Had to literally scrub the film off with some Isopropyl, and I seriously faded the graphic in the process. Think I'm going to sand it down, paint it, and try again.

A true stompbox builder would ask himself : "Does my graphic design really underline and enhance the presence of my white washer ?"

baked it too hot for too long.
I did the same thing a few weeks back. I didnt have too rough a time getting the film off thought. Spent a good 10 minutes trying to scrub off a part of the graphic and gave up. I don't think there's much need for clear coat on these after the amount of effort I put into trying to get the smallest portion removed. At the end of the day... We all step on these things right?

y'all, just put the enclosure face down in like a plastic takeout container overnight, then the no film just wipes off with a paper towel with like 2 swipes
