What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Doing carbon repair on a Trek Madone SLR 7. Outside application is straight forward but inside application of carbon fiber cloth is a bitch. I've masked it off for touch up. The top of the top tube is done.

Fading in glossy red will be tedious.

Getting there with the touch up work. The good news is the carbon repair is solid because the bike holds up my fat butt.

Working on another wah build and there’s not much more I can do to finish it until Monday when my ICAR pot arrives. So out of sheer boredom I made a decal to go on the generic shell. Yes, it’s lame but it’s also a 2“ x 1“ space on the front of a pedal that’s gonna sit on the floor and no one‘s really ever going to see (I don’t gig and I have no friends) so…

I open up this thread to see what all you studious, creative, hard-working, talented, driven people are doing...

I'm just trying to build a few pedals and drill holes in straight lines.
Maybe I should just pack it in, and take up... I don't know, beer-pong?
*sigh*
If you ever feel too bad, just send me a message and I'll DM you some gut shots to cheer up your day!

Pedal gut shots, specifically and exclusively.

I finally got a Spark 2 amp so I'm working through various pedals to go in front of it. For driving the Dumble ODS 50 model the choice was clear:

But as it turns out that pedal works really well in front of lots of the other amp models as well, although it's still crazy hot even after I knocked the gain down a bunch.

I think it's inspiring.
Think about it, your first pedal build was probably pretty terrible compared to the latest shiny thing that yourtube influencers are telling you you need.
This thread shows that high quality is only a number or steps away!

Steps you might not have the time, skill or inclination to take in your lifetime, but still!

I avoid participating in internet forums. I lurk, read, scratch my head... This one convinced me to participate ( flinching every time ). I'm here to absorb what I can and give back whatever I have that I might see missing. Wrong, right, messy, honest, ...most of us accepting failure as an outcome and pressing on *anyway*.

If I need the holes in a straight line that's what the cnc router is for ;)
