I finished soldering the fets (ahem). No love. More testing. Must be a short. Wtf. Pulled the board. Lift the tone pot. There is a 2-point-nothing mm piece of clipped lead, unsoldered, laying between two points and when the board is in the box, it must have put enough pressure on this wee bastard cutoff piece to bridge the points. I eliminated him. The reflowed everything. Still no love. Audio probed. Reflowed. Ding ding ding we have a winner.

Ok so if you dont know already ive been building chicken coops for my pedals. I know there are nice chicken coops that look like houses but i but when i think of chicken coop i think of a beat up kind of wooden enclosure. I'm using wooden pallets from hardware stores that were throwing them away. So it doesn't cost me a thing only my time 
Im not a carpenter and this is literally my first time working with wood in this creative manner. Alot of the pieces do not line up perfectly but i think that's what gives it the character of being a chicken coop. With that said im not going to sand it down then thatll give it that polished look and thats not what im going for! They will come in all different sizes within specific guidelines. So far i have 3 made Who knew woodworking was much fun!

I am hating this build so much right now and hating myself for even attempting it. A Blue Steel into a Bastion w/ relay bypass to replace a BD-2 and mojo hand Rook to save space on a friend-in-law’s board. Sad thing is, the dude is such that he will not even begin to fathom the work put into it and will probably find some nit picky reason to not like it. That’ll teach me. Maybe I should stop being a puss and suck it up. After all, I have seen some of the crazy ass combos you guys have cooked up. More power to ya.
