That build is in the Sirena megathread on Talkbass in the Luthier's Corner forum. He made the pickup and bridge from scratch too.

And yeah...I'd hit it!

Haven't been hangin' on TB much, but this will get me there in a (very fast) heartbeat.

It's that love-at-first-sight thing where even if I wasn't planning on buying an instrument, I'd hit "buy now" if it were for sale and I had the scratch to itch it.

He does super cool stuff, he works out of the same shop as the guy who does the Ampeg scroll bass restorations and clone builds. His specialty is replacement necks, I think.

I’m planning a fretless p bass build, but my love of Danko has me debating putting a thru-body f-hole on it

This weekends project is to put new pickups and pots in my Goldtop Les Paul Tribute from 2019 (I believe). Got some Seymour Duncan APH2s, CTS Pots, orange drop caps and cloth pushback wire. #ALLTHEMOJO!

Sheeeiiiittttt, mine is starting to do that after ~5 years. It'll intermittently drop into idle when you pick it up. I was kinda hoping it had somethingh to do with how tight the backplate screw was, but maybe it's Pinecil time for me too...

I recently got a box of old project boxes with a couple of cool console enclosures and tons of smaller plastic ones from my work:


The beige/tan ones are LMB Heeger Modular Desktop Consoles, which feel much bigger in person. The small black & blue boxes in the back are plastic Hammond 1591L & 1591BK enclosures for scale.


The two smaller ones are 8" x 6" x 2.75" and the big one is 13" x 10" x 4".


I think I'll put a Spaceman Orion Spring Reverb (DeadEndFX Hooke) in one of the smaller consoles, but I'm going to have to think long & hard about what to do with the big one. Might be perfect for a pro audio/500-series or synth build.
