What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Not bad. What opamps did you use?
OPA4990 outside the audio path (would be a bit noisy for this particular circuit), OPA2196 in the path. OPAx990 also happily runs off a 3V supply. Great part.

A utility build! Of limited utility…

I built a leprechaun with an expression jack and wanted to verify that it works.

I don’t own an expression pedal, but I do have a volume pedal somebody left here.
I did not have a TRS to dual TS Y cable.

This got the job done. It works! And I’ll probably never plug it in again! Ha!

So, I'm pretty sure the cats are all convening to establish the best means and moment to beat my ass...
But here's a raw snippet, no calibration, and I went in completely blind

Definitely has potential. Heard a bit of self oscillation and clock noise. Hope that clears up after calibration.
I really want one for the resonant high pass for bass. I think I stumbled across the builders YouTube a year or so ago and just forgot about it
There's some weird threshold gating/clipping thing going on as well. Curious how you like it once you've settled in.

I'm gonna hold off on calibration until I've got it boxed. There are trimmers for each side to reign in the oscillation. Having built a few other versions of the MS-20 filter, this one is so far the most stable without mods, surprisingly. I'm really digging the nauseous, raucous fuzztones it can get.
Once it's boxed, I'll show it off with some CV manipulation

I tried a vero Rene Schmitz circuit a few years ago but could never get it to "correct". Hopeful this pans out

I can empathize with that- I've built quite a few, including some eurorack versions adapted for pedal use, and they worked okay, but none were quite there for guitar without a ton of mods. Peddler seems to have worked out most of the quirks with his take on it, so I'm hopeful this one will rock
