What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Didn't get home nearly as early as I thought I would, so no demos, but i did manage to slip this guy in before bedtime -

I think it's easily the most polite envelope filter I've ever played- it doesn't do anything weird or wacky, and dialing it in is super intuitive, even so far as not having to move the pots between the up and down modes

To be fair, I haven't really mussed too much with this latest batch of builds until this one.

I'll have a demo report tomorrow, but until then, you should definitely snag one of these while Lectric has them in stock- it's fucking rad

I've been eyeing this 'n, trying to figure out how small of an enclosure with top-jacks — 1590B3 was maybe a contender, but I guess 1950BB vertical is the way to go.
Looking forward to the build report and what that extra footswitch and toggles are for!

I definitely recommend this one. Boss really outdid themselves with the peak detector in it, particularly the biasing of the Up sweep.

It could easily fit in a 125b with top jacks if you rearrange the controls a bit, and move the boards toward the footswitch. Just gotta be mindful of that little overhangy bit shorting out on the FS lugs

That’s what I was thinking, lower the board, but then the rotary is too close to the footswitch?

I’ll get a better idea when I’ve got boards on hand, I can’t do that 3D-modelling all the whippersnappers conjure on compooters.

When I was originally going to box it up as I described, I was going to leave the Sens and Q pots soldered to the board, and solder the rotary and cutoff with flying leads above the Sens and Q

Transparent copper has been on my shopping list for a long time.

I like the darkened edges. But with transparent powders this is usually an unintended effect, at least in my case. No matter how hard I try, the edges usually get a little extra powder.
Thats exactly whats happening here. I figured id rather get a little more on the edges than to not have any powder on them at all. I find that this powder is very hard to get even without to much buildup in one area. I think its the clear nature of it.
That's just begging for a big ole bakelite knob.
Or even those Ox blood Davies knobs

Integrated tabs!! Gettin fancy!
I think the tabs make it look super unique! In all honesty though not having to make those brackets is the biggest headache reliever :ROFLMAO:
