Is that UV? Or did you break the acrylics out? That texture is amazing!

Haha. Thanks it's just me scraping off the powder coat with a flathead screwdriver, because I couldn't find my putty knife

The dramatic lighting helps quite a lot :p

Just experimenting with removal of the stuff, but it's got its charms.


Edit: after a soak in acetone just to test its capabilities to soften/remove powder coat and UV.
The UV print wasn't printed on the correct enclosure/color/drill so it wasn't usable.

I've lived in an old house, when we opened the wall, we found a nice old wallpaper, then another one behind it, then another one... it's like going back through time.
This was just a single layer of paper with the burlap backing on 1x6 wall lath… needless to say O don’t have to worry about mollys when mounting anything to the wall🤣

Dude I totally hear ya! I had enclosure that I painted that I hated when it was done, WAY too busy. Decided to sand off the paint and start over and while sanding it, fell in love with the beat up look. This is a Bluesbreaker type clone before/after.
