What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

How's the test board working out? No pressure application needed? Recently bit the bullet on a 75 but couldn't stomach the test adapter cost.
I just hold it down in place with some Rodico or sticky stuff and it works great. I’m going to redesign it and make the opening a little bit smaller and it doesn’t need to be as big as it is. I have a couple more here if you want one.

May not look like much but I successfully cut steel on the cnc router. The top line is the line in question, all the lines below were previous failed attempts. These cnc routers don’t have the necessary power to cut steel so I’m working in a very limited window of parameters to cut successfully. I’m sure I can get better still.

What kind of steel is this? Stainless or ordinary (carbon?)?
I've tried to bend stainless steel - the thickness was only 0.8 mm, but the force needed for bending was much greater than for 1.5 mm aluminum.

the ec-1000 I saved up for while working my first shitty job in highschool was out of commission from botched inner wiring for a year and a half, in large part because I don’t really have the room to work on guitars at home. still a lot of work to do but it’s playable again after sometime at work today.

I’m debating swapping out the stock EMGs for their alcino models which I love. If there’s still a free hole after that and or I decide to keep the stock pickups, it’s also gonna get a green ringer with a blend and boost control on another stacked pot.

After building a zonk machine on vero I've moved onto a tone bender mk1. I think I'm going to work through the tone bender family on vero and see which one suits me best and then build it properly.

After playing with transistors for a bit and then losing nearly two hours playing my first real thought with the Mk1 is "where have you been all my life?" it's definitely not perfect but damn a tele into a Mk1 into a cooking Marshall is

I know it's messy but it's good enough to let me know if I like it or not. I'm definitely preferring a mk1 to the zonk.

Nice one!! It’s defo a challenge the mk1 build! But so rewarding when you get that unforgettable knock ya face off fuzz sound. Look forward to seeing and maybe hearing the end result! 👍🏻

JTEX has a camera there. Note the light source. That would help :)
Not really a camera, but a stereo zoom microscope. Nothing special, Amazon job, around US$300. You just need around 3x to maybe max 10x magnification. Gives my 52yo eyes superpowers.
Magnifying goggles are also a good option, and much cheaper. If you have good enough eyes (can get close to the action), even a magnifying glass lamp could be enough. It used to be all I needed in my 20's...

EDIT: this is the actual microscope I use. Damn, it used to be more like C$450 3 years ago when I got it...
