I used to have one of those! They're kinda unicorns but solid mics.
May want to eyeball those diodes by the tranny. That board is getting rather warm. Maybe replace and fly the diodes a half inch off the board...
Check you varistors too. If the transformer blew on the previous owner, it tended to take a varistor with it.

Man, I am SO down with the HP. Favorite unique OD/Distortion/Fuzz along side the Skreddy Screwdriver.

My favorite combo for the HP is still the OG transistors, I got all the trans from Amplified Parts and they work the charm.

Eidt: btw @DGWVI , I would 100% would recommend getting the OG trans from AP. I used them in my Pepper Spray and it goes from mildly dirty boost, OD, Distortion, Fuzz. It will be impossible to kick this off my board. Also kicked the trim pot to the top and it adds so much more to the range of this pedal than it already has

It is an awesome circuit. Definitely my favorite of the old timey fuzzes (so far)

I've got one with the 404 and 3565, and the bits for a couple more OG spec builds, but I wanted to do an all silicon version.
Once I get the new transistors in, I'll do a shootout
 
Oh I totally get it bud. Man I'm definitely down with that, gonna pop out the trans I have in there and audition some silicon in there this weekend.

Don't remember where I got my 2n404s and 3565s, but they sounded great

Kinda considering doing another now, but with toggles or even a footswitch for the transistors 😅
 
I was given a cheap Fender combo with a broken built-in amp. Not worth fixing, so I threw away the amp and replaced it with a Flying Mole Class D amp (we have a whole pile of them at work that nobody will ever use again). I swear, they were made for each other! The combo has 2 inputs, labeled 1 and 2, and two 10" speakers. The amp has two inputs, also labeled 1 and 2, and, well, it's stereo! Cab's model is Fender FM 210. From now on, FM will stand for Flying Mole :)

The Flying Mole control panel was just the right size to fit on the Fender's front panel too. Sideways, but still. So now I have a stereo combo, with just two volume controls. Perfect for being fed from a stereo multi FX. I could even fit some connectors for external cab(s), since the amp can do 2x160W into 4ohms and the Fender speakers are 16Ohm. The amp barely notices them.

Hopefully the country fans aren’t too offended that was what I used to find out if the deck was still a tape-eater. 😬

It’s on the stereo now. I don’t think I’ve ever played it.
