What's for dinner?

Just took this out of the oven for tomorrow's Christmas meal.

I can't do the "pretty" edges thing but I'm sure it will be tasty with a scoop of ice cream or cheddar cheese on it.

Christmas Day menu will be herb crusted Standing Rib roast, Dill Horseradish sauce, mashed taters and gravy, fresh green beans.
(and Apple Pie for dessert)

I love the rustic crust! What is the white specks on top of the pie?
 
Not for dinner, but there are things that I only make once a year and this is one, caramel corn. Three batches thus far, plain (ok not completely plain, I did substitute some maple syrup for half of the Karo) buffalo, and since I’m in Ky, a bourbon flavored.

Toss a handful or two of my spiced nuts in with that caramel would be tasty!
