I haven't been able to eat apples since I was about 20. Think "Nuclear Ex-lax". And sugar tastes like brake cleaner to me. It's genetic, my dad got the same thing at age 50, I got it at 54...... <sigh> sucks to be me.....!!!!!!
I like canned sardines or herring with my crackers for emergency meals.....Gatorade and saltines for dinner. The gastronomical ecstasy is overwhelming.

I eat a lot of boiled chicken. 1.5 gallons of water + 67.5 grams of salt + 15 grams of sugar. Bring water up to 190f, add 8 pounds of chicken legs and reduce to simmer for 4 hours. I eat the premium meat, the cats get the dark stuff around the bones and my dogs eat the bones and cartilage. The chicken stock is perfect for soup after straining!If only.
