It’s a great finish, love the way my 1590BBS build from the original group buy turned out.

That’s a newer one. They still sell new for $99 US. Should be able to find a used one for ~$50 US if you want one.

IMO, an unimpressive headphone amp for bass. And they are readily available for as low as 50 bux if one looks around. They're also branded as a "Metal Ace".

Update on the "Donner Mod II"....it uses a Cirrus Logic CS4272 CODEC, which is a good chip. The pedal's use of it however, left me less than dazzled. All but 3 of the effects disappear any tone your signal had before reaching this junction, and the rotary has too much slack for me. But I guess you get $49 worth of pedal. I prefer analog and 16 pedals instead of one, so maybe I look at it wonky-jawed to start with.

I've had a few recent aborted attempts to get building again, so this gift of encouragement coming from The Winter Soldier himself will be what gets the solder flowing again — 'cause if I don't jump on it, Chris will kick my ass!

Great value indeed! 'Twil be Berry Crunchy, and the Nutrition Facts are that not only will this jump-start the building-process again, it also feeds my compression addiction.

Just missed out on an IC, that's all that might hold me back.
From the bottom of my compression-ratio, I'll do my best to do this build justice and pay his generosity forward somehow.
