Sundries from shops and orders from overseas.

Didn't get the Fluke I wanted, long boring story untold, wound up with the most basic from authorised distro WECL (it's actually a 106, not 107), but it's my first Fluke so ... we'll see.
Now I can get back to debugging with continuity Batfink BEEPs...

BatFink BEEP.jpeg

Then I found a more-featured DMM for a few bucks, so cheap it might be a paperweight right out of the box. Accuracy-smackurashy.
The beige box the two DMMs are sitting on is a Tayda order. Saved on shipping, since I was in Tayda's hood anyway. May have forgot to get IC sockets... hmmm 'nother Tayda order is in order anyway.

The pedal is one I built for a friend three years ago when I was last in HK and had no time to test it — it fried its charge pump immediately, so yet more debugging to do.

The four spools of wire were mine, originally gifted to my Amp-Sifu when I moved — he gifted them back (too thin for amp-work, great for 1590A builds, the original usage-intention).

Original USB to USB-C dongle and similar adapters (seriously cheap — stuff like this, it's practically criminal how much the rest of the Western world has to pay for such items

A couple of L-shaped Neutrik plugs, one having silent doo-dah mode, 'cause it's hard to find good cables that have TWO L-shaped plugs. (previously found a spool of cable that was on clearance that I need to use up).

Orange bits with a bite out of them are battery-testers for just about any household battery-type you can imagine.
Coloured pin-headers,
10mm LEDs and a
lifetime supply of green LEDs for HK$9 (CAD1.57 / BPS 0.85p / €0.97 / USD1.15)
black tin with a bunch of magnetised alligator clips, little build helpers...
some SMD caps for lo-pro builds...
other...

Also had THCustom deliver a
- 7 Seg Bank Sw-counter thingy for my JMK Epic Looper switcher project, 'cause JMK were out of stock when last I checked.
- THCustom's take on the Blencowe octaver, U-boot to be paired with ELS's version of Merlin's Equinox reverb.
- THCustom's Radio-Button Effect Control (which will be set up as a looper).

Ordered THAT JAM PCB and BASS AMUSER PCB from UK-Electronic.de, but they were on the slow boat to China, I guess.

When I saw the following early on, I thought I'd shop and compare prices, but... A lot of places I used to frequent are gone from Aplui Street. 😿

The ones that got away...

IMG_1752.jpeg PERF — I needed some more, but didn't get any
IMG_1753.jpeg Breadboards and ribbon-cables and alligator clips — always need more, got none.

Shoulda bought it when I saw it!

I could've filled up a suitcase, but it was already full of stuff I was bringing back for my lovely significant other. 😻

Okay, time to split open that box from Tayda, and see what I forgot to order... such as
momentary footswitches for one, for the switcher-looper builds...

Used the last of my Amazon points on this pedal. EHX upped their sticker game. I cancelled Amazon prime and Amazon credit card cuz jeff bozos is a scumbag.
This one has piqued my interest. Was hoping to grab one in a few months once enough don't make it on pedal boards. I have an admiration for the weird stuff EHX still comes up with.

That looks really good for a "budget" guitar. And of course my favorite pickup combo!!
The reviews I could find were positive, and they're definitely budget friendly. Sadly not a lot of them in the US, and paying tariffs and shipping from the UK wouldn't have made sense. I happened to be refreshing reverb right when this one got posted, and I snatched it right up! Hard to say what one "should" cost, but for $329 I'm happy.

Wow killer deal. I'm usually not a fan of silver bursts but I'm digging the aesthetic of that whole guitar, from headstock all the way down.
What's the scale length?

27" scale. I liked the Idea of staying on the shorter end of the baritone range, and I liked the idea of a p90, so for cheap options I was pretty much looking at one of these Jets, or a used paranormal Squier. The looks were also a selling point.

Welling up a bit here, my dudes, because @Robert responded to my stupid "Surprise me?" note with my 125B drill template order with this entire fucking Raincoat kit.I've been struggling especially hard in recent weeks and it's hard to convey how touching your thoughtfulness and generosity are. Thank you so so damn much 🥹 🥹 🥹 💜 🙏🏻
