What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

I can finally clear my bench of all the projects going at the same time. Never again! Going back to one and done, the chaos of having multiple is driving me crazy.

Huge Stompbox order with all the missing parts. Thought I’d try out their custom colors as well. Burken Blue and Wine Red. The pic doesn’t do them justice as they look red and blue but in person they are not just red and blue. Very cool.

Also, this power module @Robert made is insanely epic, Allows you to dial in the HV from around 100v to over 300v and the trim pot is perfect, can literally dial in to the exact voltage. Very stable voltage output as well. This is going to come in handy for tube bread boarding. Just be careful! Zzzzzzt.

Cool all the way around! I was just looking at those enclosures last night and thinking about picking a couple up in the less commonly used sizes and colors.

ok latest coupon code haul.....plus a couple stowaways......

That second order was just supposed be some 3PDT breakouts and the Tellurian. It came with a stowaway!! @Robert told me it's a Schnobel Daily Driver. I've never heard of it before. Thank you sir!!!

Speaking of huge.....the Duo Phase board is MASSIVE........what size enclosure do I need for this thing? I'm guessing a 1590B ain't gonna cut it....?

Edit: Oh and I FINALLY made it into the STICKER CLUB! WOOHOOO!

Edit #2: to avoid any unannounced booty calls from @jjjimi84..... :ROFLMAO:

whoa that thing looks and sounds really cool.

I got 1 expected item, my boxes/IO boards from da man in IA and 1 unexpected, the dorks in brown never updated the status of my mouser order... guess that saves 1 call center schmoe's ears 🤪 IF I have to get stuff from mouser again, I'm dropping the 3 extra for reg mail ><

So I mentioned a bit earlier that I found out that Mouser does offer cheaper shipping options buried deep in the check out shipping dialog box.
I selected the $3.49 regular mail option for my last order......heh, order status....."USPS Currently Awaiting Package". I guess for $3.49 they make you wait and hold it at the warehouse out of spite....hahah.

that was the option I took, known it for awhile.. think the $4 saving is nobody doing the tracking, it's been the exact 10 days.

Where find this

I just checked and the option did not appear for me until I was logged in after clicking checkout, before that only $7.99 was available. Once I was logged in it was the second from the last option. I'll definitely consider mouser for more things if I don't have to pay $8 shipping every single time for a few bits.
why I also make sure how big an order is... a few parts I'll go to BYOC, GPCB, SBE SBP or even amplified parts IF I know I neeed something tube-ish or for fixing some instrument. The 1 I griped about had stuff for like 4~5 diff projects and was over 30 before shipping...
I feel like I'd rather pay $8 than have to log in to a website 😂 I'm so tired of managing accounts for things
still makes me log in BUT the 4 bucks gets a little security(mailbox needs a key)

that's why I just have my phone keep track of all of my randomly-generated passwords when I make an account somewhere, only to forget to sync my passwords to my laptop's password manager, and have to reset a bunch of passwords when can't figure out how to log in 😅

I've been a LastPass user for the past 6 or 7 years. It's a lifesaver. So all my passwords are no longer Hodedo12

pretty much... it's likely having coffee at Mobile coming across I-10 right now!

Empty box today, should be my diodes and a missing resistor tomorrow.

Well I hope my box isn't empty whenever it gets here. It's got the 85 TL072's I need for my Duo-Phase build...... :ROFLMAO:

Push come to shove I'll solder up some SMD 072's onto the adapter boards I got from @Robert.

I had an empty 1 today... did you figure out which end to light when smoking fish?

all teasing aside.. why I'm leary of the Duo IS all the op amps it needs o_O
