The 5 pin trimmer is actually just to give the option to accommodate different trimmer models, and the 5v is the testing point, where you put your multimeter and twist the trimpot to give you a 5v reading

Multi choice on the Caps though the build docs list Electrolytic caps.
The trimmer is for Q4, not the Q1 jfet on the bottom left!:

Some @bean PCBs, got here in Italy quicker than most Musikding orders: Anamorph, Glitchee, business card fuzz. Also Amazon was selling the Behringer SF300 Super fuzz for 22€ so why not? Should be a fun project to rehouse and mod, I've seen mods for octave toggle and a switch to add the 1.5 "secret" mode

Yes . . . to test them out for the programs provided in the documentation. Then to take off in my own direction, stretch my circuit-design-fu and see what happens.

I bought 40 from Mouser last week. A little pricey at $.69 each, but at least I don't have to worry about fakes for a while.In my Phase90 build report @Guilherme Collateral pointed out that my TL072s are fake. So I bought some new ones from LCSC. Let's hope they are legit this time because I bought 50 of them(and a couple of OP07s)

Still better than when they were $1.39 at Rat Shack in the 80s! (Adjust that for inflation and you are looking at like $5 in today’s $$). Weren’t much cheaper at $0.99 each from Digikey back then.
Of course, I also remember not being able to find the RC4739 dual op amp or 4136 had op amp anywhere for the Anderton book… but DID find the ECG version of the 4136 at my local industrial electrical supply. At a ripe cost of $9.50/each! Now adjust that one for inflation for fun!! Lol

First of the last orders (for a while) came in from Jameco. Wanted to take a chance on the 308 cans they have. Also got a poly cap grab bag, because I'd rather pay for that and get something than the fee for the min order amount 
and actually, not a bad spread for lead spacing. I was expecting much worse. Like, all 250V caps like that honker there
Haven't separated by value yet, but I'm pretty pleased with that.

don't have the resources to test like temol did, but no tab cutouts or chicken/dragon TI logos, though Don't own stock with them, but even still, they're cheaper at the big box shopsEven Stompbox parts is cheaper than Mouser at $0.65 (even have the extended temp range version at the same price). Hindsight being 20/20, just wish I would have bought a lot of 100 pcs a few months ago, knowing how many I used so far, and how many I’m going to need soonlast few I previously ordered for a friend looked legit

Well shoot. I had to get stuff from mouser that wasn't carried elsewhere, so it's always that balance of shipping costs and multiple orders. I try not to overthink it, but I might've underthought
