So how about a thread all about pedal artwork?
A place where builders can show off graphics planned for an upcoming build, or ask our awesome community for advice or critique.

I'll start by sharing an example of one of my favorite obstacles presented in visual media: the unexpected look-alike.
There I was, thinking up ideas for a Lectric-FX Soy Sauce, which is a clone of the DOD MeatBox. With the intent to keep things relatively "clean" on the pedalboard, I do my best to avoid too much locker-room innuendo and mudflap-bound suggestive imagery. Being a carnivore, I figured I'd try to model the enclosure after an iconic cut of meat, the T-bone steak. I've toyed with this idea before while working on a layout for a Meat Sphere that never got built:

Not bad, but it's not really in the SCHMORG style to have such identifiable objects be the feature of the layout (with an exception or two: Ghost Echo.)
I kept at the t-bone idea, sketching a couple layouts until I liked one, then began drawing it with vectors in Photoshop:

Aand..it turned out looking more like ladies' thong underwear than anything else 🙃 time to start over!

My final idea was to model one of those charts that shows all the different cuts of beef those cows are busy making for us- I found this one on the first page of google images:

As you can see, this steer is NOT wearing a thong.
I ran with this idea and now I have this:

THAT's a MeatBox I can be proud of-
I'll be completing this build in my next batch to use as a vocal effect!

So, let's see YOUR artwork!

Rad!
Is this one going to have a border that matches your tremolo/reverb build?
They look like they'd go well together.

It started out with a border but the tube is pretty damn close to the side and I turned it off.

Thanks for the prompt. I'll give it another go.

I'm not digging the little tab I added to the "tube plate" with the little "12AX7" text.. I don't think it fits with the rustic vibe.

Larger margin for border
got rid of "12AX7" tab
bumped all of the tube holes out of alignment (those will be drilled through to reveal the led-enhanced glow of the tube.
This will be the first pedal to get the "Carnelian Sphere" indicator lamp and the cool new serrated washer around the stop switch.
Going to use Love My Switches mini-hifi knobs.

Fantastic design.. Love the "cuts of meat" dotted lines. The boldness of the graphics really holds it together as well.
