What's on the drawing board? 🎨🖌️

On another forum someone posted about painting beer cans on capacitors for amps. I believe they were possibly intoxicated, on WHAT whose to say?

And it degraded from there into using decals, and yadda yadda the next thing I know, just for laughs, I substituted duracell batteries bitmaps for the caps on a BFPR.

So since that was today I figured I'd post the battery cap princeton as well as the original *which I have planned to build* hopefully starting this year sometime after I finish the 59 Bassman I'm building.

These are postimage hotlinks where you can download the original in 210x210 dpi if desired. Which when you zoom in you get really really good detail. As in a cap and a few resistors fill the screen.

I've got to extract this 3d asset from the game file, rig it in Maya, then pose it the way I want for one of my next projects.

I still haven't scraped the assets, but needed to refresh my rigging skills, so I modeled it myself (kind of) from memory. I think I need to adjust the scale of my temp model "hands " and "mouth" though 😅 even though I'm not going to use it (probably)

Yeah, pic of a screen vs screenshot… this ol ' space heater doesn't get the internet treatment anymore.

BTW, this is how a "brain" T-poses

Also finishing up a rather spartan design for the Promenade (ehx bass balls).

And hopefully this laser-mask-paint project comes out right. Waiting on the paint to cure before I go removing the mask.

Yeah, it's an elk, but there's currency with "moose knuckle" 🦴

Literally nothing fancy for you guys but a major step for me :p Learning LTSplice and KiCad by doing the OCD circuit and trying to simulate it properly. The goal is to tune the OCD to make it more suited to my needs (bass cut, HP/LP on a pot instead of a switch, changed up tone control).

Then I guess I'll learn breadbording, then PCB design, then try to find a PCB service for prototypes in Europe.

Putting the finishing touches on a layout I put together for ROG's Thunderbird (in 1590BB2) and took a break to put together some graphics. All gold hues will be fulfilled by the enclosure color. I'm thinking one of the metallic gold colors from Tayda.

This next one is for another project I've been in the process of doing a layout for (not sure if I'll stick with this name or not). This project has been a bit of an undertaking and I'm not sure if it'll ever be done. This one, like the Thunderbird, will use the enclosure color for the blue areas. I think the metallic candy blue will really pop here. This one is also designed for 1590BB2.
