Well shoot dang, my EDA won't let me rotate the hatching on the bias :|

DipTrace gives a few different styles as well as width/spacing controls for the individual lines.

Set preferences to allow 45° rotation of parts, [Ctrl]+A, rotate everything, add hatching, rotate back.

My EDA is old, German, and Germanically pedantic. Even a 30* rotation and it insists that 90* grid lines are what is proper.

Time to hand draw your gerbers, then scan them in!

Can you import a black and white image as a copper or keepout layer? If so you can make it any shape or pattern you want, paisley if that's your thing.

Just make sure everything connects properly.
