Hey all, I am new to DIY Guitar Pedals. This is currently my second pedal.
Originally I purchased some fake parts (IC, Transistors) from china and removing them caused quite a mess on the pcb (so bad till some joints are not connecting so I just wired them manually) Currently I got new OPA2604AP and 2N5089s from Stompbox Parts.
I wired everything up, plug it into an amp, there is a distorted noise coming out of the output.
I tried to audio probe the circuit, the signal cuts off at Q1. (There is sound at Pin 2, no sound at Pin 1). I did a reverse audio probe (audio probe connected to the input signal, amp connected to the output jack of the pedal), and there is distorted guitar sounds up till Pin 6 & 7 of the IC.
I did check the solder joints with a multimeter in continuity mode.
I highly doubt it is a voltage issue.
Voltages
Diode: 9.40V, 9.20V(other side)
Pin 3 of Q1 & Q2 are both 9.20V.
Like I said, I am a total newbie so I don't really know what I am doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
