zero's various pedal builds

Thought I'd make a thread for my builds, there's nothing that spectacular, maybe this is more just a thread for me to refer back to what I've done for myself.
I get all my shit from tayda cuz im a cheapskate.

PPCB Boneyard Delegate
PPCB Uberdrive
PPCB Sherwood
PCBguitarmania Elk Device (as Hizumitas)
PCBguitarmania Acapulco Lite
PPCB Box & All EQ
(carbon copy mini)
Basic junction box underneath

I've got a Scabbard & PCBGM Mad Blue to build.

Delegate boneyard - I've run 5mm green LED into Tayda's KE-10720 LDR - I need to play around with it some more, it seems to be working but i have some options to tinker with.
My last order I was trying to be a cheapskate and so I ordered all mylar caps, obviously I've learned my lesson on this now seeing how big they are.
I think for this one I followed the PCB and so im using 220nf for C7 & C8

Uberdrive. Quite happy with this one, I modded the drive pot from 1M to A500K and I used 2SC1815's - I play an 8 string so I was looking for a low cut boost.

Sherwood OD - I think I did a few mods on this one; disconnected treble pin 1 and connected to bass pin 1 on the back. Was there something about soldering in a resistor to the pot - maybe that was a different pedal.
I forgot to insert the transistors, was quite surprised how much I liked it as it was, then plugged in the transistors and it didn't seem to sound different. Either way, a really nice light OD.

Hizumitas - I learned my lesson about ordering inferior PCBs. And PCB with no drilling templates that I had to measure myself. And did i mention mylar caps?
Pedal seems to be working - I really don't think I like fuzz. Sustain needs to be maxed to get anything noticeable out of it - possibly also just a shit PCB.

Acapulco Lite - Actually quite like this as a distortion pedal, and I can see how adding the volume pot is a nice touch. Super basic build, drilled way too fucking high though.

Box & All EQ - Basic EQ for a basic person. This is actually my second one, I built and sold one when I bought my helix, didn't think I'd need EQ again. I still don't but i also like building pedals apparently. I think it was this one with the 7.5K resistor soldered to the pot - see Chela mods https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/the-pedal-formerly-known-as-chela.2929/ - Its on the back, don't worry about it, it looks great.

And just a basic junction box for under the board. Ordered the wrong size box at tayda so then I had to trim the jacks on the right to get them to fit. don't worry about it.

nice lineup! never seen the greenies before, I'm sure they were super annoying to squish in there lol

Yeh I think in some pedals there's the space to use them and save 5-10c a cap over film, but I think 1-22nf is where they're okay, past 22nf you want to use film, but hey, I learned.

Since this is my thread, and I figure I can ask dumb questions in here...I'm thinking of rehousing my uberdrive with a notakliche & using the order switch between. I'm comfortable with the wiring for the switching and the pedals sharing power and so forth, just wondering if I'll have any issues with the kliche buffered bypass on one side and the true bypass uberdrive on the other (I'd likely wire it klon into uberdrive...but have that order switch too) there would be times when I'm playing clean and wouldn't use either and have the buffer on which is fine.

I've had a few things, only fuzzes, that didn't get along with the Kliché buffer but the only specific example I can remember was the fuzzy fox.

Are you saying this because you know I got impatient and instead of reaching for my rocket sockets, used a pair of pliers and put a large scratch in the finish?
But yes I can only see it if I look for it.

Found it! That took me a while, further validating my point.

But to answer your question- No, I mentioned it because in the past I have bought colors that seem impossible to handle without scuffing them up. Matte Black for instance. But I’ve bought that finish twice and really enjoyed how little I had to be concerned with jacking up the finish before I even start mounting the circuit.

Magnetron, with momentary feedback, and trimpot to control that feedback.
Feedback still uncontrollable.

Kinda wish the wobble in this was a little stronger. Had to max out the gain trimmer too to get it as strong as I liked it.
I also reversed the LEDs on the front so the rate is at the top and the other at the bottom.

Hydra, with clock module.
Not sure I needed the clock module in hindsight, but oh well.
I did the dry mod and used an A10K for the mix, removed the pin on the pot, didn't like the result so soldered a wire in place. Might still change this to a B10K as the original design.
Heads 3+4 seem to be nice, it's hard to define what's good and bad with this. Not certain I like it

Yeh i get what you mean. I am glad I'm getting tayda to drill these too, let them figure it out.
(JK i have three painted, drilled enclosures here that dont fit what I needed them to because I fucked up the drill coordinates)

i sorta felt the same about the modulation on this one.
it's kinda nice, but it doesn't really kick in until the depth is at about 2o'clock, and then if you go too far, you end up with a fair bit of audible LFO throb/pulse that isn't easy to dial out with the trimmer, without killing the modulation altogether.

Actually you know what is killing my aesthetics now? It's that I have two line 6 pedals, the shallow water that I stamped, the Hydra with its faceplate, and now about 8 other pedals with no descriptions at all.
Hey Robert can you please make a faceplate for all pedals so I don't have to wonder what my pedals do?
I should probably have learned how to use illustrator but I'm 37 and as you know you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Uberdrive about to be combined with notakliche, delegate rebuilding, circulator and abyss to round out my modulation options. Pod Express providing amps (I really want an FX loop) and HX one is primarily my Gate, tuner and any other shit I want.
Scabbard, Angry Orange, Shika Fuzz, Acapulco lite sold locally.
Clock so I can be like, shit I told my wife I'd start dinner 25mins ago.

I also have an entire Helix LT.
