Cataclysm delay. I've had a crisis of delay of late, bought, built and sold a few. I think I've landed on DL4 MkII as my keeper though. This one is really nice, can really get it to sound nice and dark like the carbon copy with the tone control.

Muffin Factory - Was a fun build! some interesting new things to try with regards to construction.
2x MP35's around 80hfe, 100 leak, 1N192 Germanium diodes from PPCB
Standoffs used from Tayda - A-1306 and A-197
Switches A-5020

swapped position for R2 and R3, rest was stock I believe.

Obviously needs some testing to get right, Im not able to get as much gain out of it as the War Scythe at the moment, but tonally its there.

This was a complete rebuild after I breadboarded it, built it to PCB and it refused to work. It's actually a miracle it currently works considering how much prodding and pulling on all parts I did to it trying to work out what I'd done wrong, because I couldn't tell what I'd done wrong.
Anyway so I pulled the transistors, diode and pots, re-breadboarded it - fantastic, it's working- then rebuilt to a new PCB. In comparing the old board I worked out what it was, I'd flipped R2 and R3, so that would have done it. Classic assumptions while building a simple pedal.

Here's the mod thread

I built mine with PNP because I have way more of them, there's instructions inside for NPN. It's a pretty roaring fuzz, I will have to compare it with my Carbon black and well since they're both MkIII benders.
