Does anyone else legitimately boycott any company that thinks this is a good marketing term? I mean it’s not as bad as putting out Christmas (or Xmas/Non denominational seasonal consumption) crap before Halloween or more offensively Remembrance/Veteran’s day but still. Just awful

I find most marketing disgusting, what it should be is; here is what I do/product does, if you want it buy it.

Way back, as a favor to a friend, my band agreed to play a tiny festival north of Seattle called Rockstock. I almost canceled when he told me the name. Ended up being a fun show, though the kind folk out in rural WA weren't exactly fans of jazz adjacent music. Kind of felt like Marty McFly after some of our weirder pedal heavy polyrhythmic tunes.

Inserting the word "rock" into phrases is like wearing clothing with quarter notes and various other music notation on it. I love me some music, but I hate your socks.
