What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I’m going to call this one a win. Finally.

It makes fuzz but I can’t turn it up since the girls are asleep. Looking forward to trying out different transistors tomorrow or this weekend. And I got my fuzz pot laid out backwards, so it’s a zzuf top for now.

Got to crank this up this morning and it sounds fucking bad ass! I need to figure out how to best record my amps.

I just put these guys in there for now-
Q1: Russian MP38 @ 59 hFE
Q2: NTE123A @ 190 hFE

That looks great!

It surprises me how often big companies run super ugly dc jack setups like this square peg-round hole bullshit from walrus.

Are you paying a lot extra to get the square holes?

Probably have to use a laser cutter or something similar in a production line process. I’m not sure how you’d do it quickly and economically.

I’m paying no extra. I used the line option on The Tayda drill tool.

It took me one test enclosure to get the spacing right.

This is the blank test enclosure vs. the final:

Because of how I spec’d it to Tayda (this was my first square hole), they hit the top face of the pedal on the underside. I used a file to fit the jack in and them adjusted everything down by 1.8mm.
That’s very neat! Would that jigger fit into a 1590B enclosure?
