Anyone know the font used for the original Maestro logo in the 60s and 70s? Pretty sure it's just a modified letraset font, but I can't remember the name
This one is stumping me. I think you’re right in re letraset, but I came up empty going through some archives.Anyone know the font used for the original Maestro logo in the 60s and 70s? Pretty sure it's just a modified letraset font, but I can't remember the name
Stumping me too. For some reason I had always thought it was Allegro or Lunda, the former of which being pretty far off. Lunda has some similarities but isn’t it either. Both are derivatives of Corvinus Kursiv which might be a useful starting point for anyone else. This one is stumping me. Even the current administrators for Maestro Electronics can't seem to locate the original font, as the font used on their FB page and Gibson website is different.

The current logo sorta looks like it should be on an espresso machine. The current one is what was used on the first FZ-1 (essentially a connected version of the Gibson logo font) which is kind of weird to use considering it predates the horn logo that they’re also using
Carnival of Treason is an absolutely hilarious name for a civil war font.
Indeed..Carnival of Treason is an absolutely hilarious name for a civil war font.
