Now get this. New bowls go for about $200. The bowl that came with mine was ok, but had small dents and looked like it had been sandblasted. I found a bowl on eBay for $120 (including tax and shipping). Got it today.

And and and THERE WERE THREE BOWLS. Whaaaaaa???

I sent a message to the sender and they say "Thanks, we will tell our shipping department, enjoy your free bowls."

OKAY! But, it's a hobby, not a business. Let's see, I could make about 60 one pound loaves of bread without doing the dishes, lmao....

Those are my favorite low-leakage germanium transistors. So cute, so consistent, and with lower noise than any other germanium transistor that I've come across.

Ive built many fuzz face type circuits with these. And they are fantastic

But all you others dont read that and go buy them all!!! They are mine!!! When i decide i want more

I wish that there was. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a low leakage, medium-to-high gain Soviet NPN germanium transistor. The only higher gain ones (MP11A, MP38A) are all relatively high leakage.

Man those prices seem too good to be true. Have you done any tests comparing those 72’s to a ti. I have some 72’s i know to be fake bought before i knew better and ill selectively use those in circuits where i dont think the impact will be as great.

Finally. My Rosamp SLO30 kit is here. Wonderfully well packed I must say. I have to check the components to see what I don't really like and need to upgrade but a quick look is really reassuring. The chassis is even already sanded down to the metal were it needs to be grounded
I didn't have a banana for scale so I put a pedal.
And thanks @TillMack for the recent exchange on the kit
