I haven't had a chance to test yet. The prices are really good and I'm sure it's possible these are counterfeit, but others on the forum have reported good results with their stuff so I pulled the trigger. And I think this company is a wing of JLCPCB that sells components.Man those prices seem too good to be true. Have you done any tests comparing those 72’s to a ti. I have some 72’s i know to be fake bought before i knew better and ill selectively use those in circuits where i dont think the impact will be as great.
Gotta keep the brownie bowl separate from the bread bowl.
Otherwise he'll never bake bread fast enough for those neighbors.

I ordered 100 last nightI buy lots of TI TL072 from LCSC and they are the real deal. Never got a bad IC from them.
It just makes sense that the tension on a Capo should be adjustable! Not the sexiest New Gear Day but I haven't been happy with any of my spring trigger capos in years. I used a shubb in the 90s without issue and don't know why it took so long to come back after trying so many different types. View attachment 82792
Only a DIYer (including myself) would spend more than a PCB costs to make the PCB himself.Bunch of different things coming in the door.
These AC125s and AC126s arrived from Thailand:

I need to clean the corrosion or whatever it is off. A scotch-brite pad works okish. Do you think contact cleaner would help? Would it damage them? I suppose I’ll test on a few.
I was just saying how much I hated drilling etched pcbs the other day. I got a wild hair (some transfers on Effects Layouts got me hot), and ordered up the required stuff to have a go. The Dremel press is like a 1000x better than the one from 25 years ago when I last etched boards haha:

This tube order from Eurotubes has been sitting a while:

They are for a Rosamp SLO30 build I ordered right when they opened it up again (August 31st). They shipped it on September 11th. It fell off the truck on the 15th. I waited a week before asking him to check on it. He responded that he needed to decide what to do. Nothing yet haha. I guess I’ll email again on Monday (two weeks since last package scan). It’s becoming a bummer though:

I do have other things to keep me busy obviously haha, but I am really looking to building my first amp in 25 years.

You know I was looking at the 20 pounds of weed that is 2022 and before and have finally decided to hot box the neighborhood. I can't give the stuff away fast enough. I'm just gonna build a biggo honkin bon fire with some old pallets, wait for the embers to form and toss that shit on top. lmao....That's a great idea I had not thought of.
Honestly.
I said "smokin'" 'cause ... nevermind. A bowl that big and 'Unit1 could hot-box his entire house, possibly the whole neighbourhood if the bowl was truly full to begin with.
Need a small-pool to badda-boom-badda-bing-badda-bong it...
Okay, enough. Back to the mailbox contents...
A Scotch-Brite pad and isopropyl alcohol is my go-to for corroded germanium transistor leads. Some light scrubbing and they solder right in without any trouble. If you end up measuring gain/leakage, I'd love to see the results!Bunch of different things coming in the door.

Pretty poor from the handful I measured tonight.A Scotch-Brite pad and isopropyl alcohol is my go-to for corroded germanium transistor leads. Some light scrubbing and they solder right in without any trouble. If you end up measuring gain/leakage, I'd love to see the results!
I first got a shubb ukulele capo to use with my tenor guitar, and I immediately preferred the style to any of the other capos I’ve tried. It’s a perfect design— it just works without fussNot the sexiest New Gear Day but I haven't been happy with any of my spring trigger capos in years. I tried the scotch brite, but xx steel wool works much better, and faster. Polishes by removing only the scum and oxide. And those leads are super reflective, finely polished.A Scotch-Brite pad and isopropyl alcohol is my go-to for corroded germanium transistor leads.
