Those soviet si’s transistors are some of my favorite components ever. I have more than a sane person could use in a lifetime just because I think they look cute

the lower hfe ones work really nicely in si fuzz faces and tonebenders

And don’t sleep on low hFE transistors for Super Fuzzes and the like. An hFE of 130-145 is the sweet spot for that circuit IMHO.

Really just some resistors from Mouser left. I need to finish my current amp project first though. I’ve been slow as molasses in January.
Oh also I finally bought a proper auto-punch, the Starrett 18a. Here it is next to the punch it’s retiring. Purchased from Menards or whatever. I’ve bought three or four mid priced punches off of Amazon and none were as good as the cheapie. Likely because the cheapie copied the Starrett design.

Mouser order with some caps, MMBFJ201 and a bunch of op amps. Planning to do a Rat op amp comparison video so I got some classics to try: NE5534, TL061, TL071, CA3130, CA3140, LM741, LM301 on top of the OP07 and LM308 I already got here. Also some OPA1678 and OPA1642. These have pretty killer specs comparable to the OPA2134 but at a fraction of the price. Hoping these will be a good replacement. Got the single channel versions too for the Rat comparison because why not. SMD only though.
Edit: Oh right, and I found these switched Alpha pots which I thought were kind of cool. Just a pot with an SPST. All the way CCW after a little detent = off. Not as useful as DPDT push-pull pots obviously but these are the same size as a normal pot so that's neat.
