Just a quick warning about the Virgil, most of us that built it have reported that it won't work if you use both 4580 IC's. One of them needs to be a 4558 (or other dual op amp). I think it was the top one. Not sure if this mystery ever got solved. Otherwise it's a great pedal. Maybe my favorite YATS.

Ordered these surface mount 2SK208-Ys from Mouser after @comradehoser posted a heads up they were in stock.

I usually try and get a good list together before I order components to spread out the shipping cost, but I just took the hit on this one. The size of this box really rubs it in.

I'm building one - finally got the polyurethane applied in 5 coats. But, it's going on the back burner since my girlfriend from 49 years ago is moving in with me tomorrow morning now that my transmission is rebuilt.

Now get this, I was leaving to go to Costco this morning and I put on the music for the dogs to listen to while I was gone.

The song that came on was "My last worthless evening" by Don Henley. I gasped. God is trying to say "It's good Unit!"

I come home and it's The Eagles "The girl from yesterday"

I effing freaked out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I texted her to let her know that God was sending us a message, and she just sent a heart emoticon.

btw, my late wife used to hang with The Eagles and Jackson Brown before they were famous. True story!!!!!!

Nice! I wanted a 59 with tubes and 4x10s. My old back just ain’t what it used to be when I was loading into and out of bars every weekend!

This was the very first pedal I became absolutely infatuated with, and I finally found a deal good enough to jump on. I just finished modding it for a 18VDC input instead of 220VAC input (bought it from a UK seller), but other than that it's all stock and the Reticon SAD1024 sounds just like I remember.

Picked this up on marketplace today. Its a DIY cab that seems solid loaded up with the shown speakers. Ill be doing some speaker swapping and wiring this up for 4 ohms to use with my bassman.

Sounds great so far. Current plan is to try the ev in my fender 75, put the celestion in my 1x12, and i have two emininece alnicos from a handwired fender tweed twin ri ill out in here. We’ll see what i end up doing.
