Are we allowed to play acoustic guitar on this forum?

I have a 1981 Takamine F-340 that the previous owner had butchered by installing knobs and an output jack for a soundhole pickup. Yes, literally drilled holes in the top for knobs. I got it for free.

I filled in the top holes with wood filler and coloured them to the best of my very limited abilities. I mounted an output jack for a much better soundhole pickup, since I couldn't fix that hole. That's near the strap button.

It plays really well and sounds good.

I have a single cutaway Martin that I play quite a bit.. When I play live I run it through my pedalboard…, So technically I’m still electric 🤣.. I use a little compression, light chorus and a tad of delay when I play live..

You guys play live?!? What’s that like? 🤣

I have a late 80s early 90s Yamaha that I just restrung with Stirngjoys that I am really digging right now. Plays really well and sounds like it should on a recording, put up a neutral mic and it sits in the mix perfectly. Probably should get it set up properly but my hack job is good enough for now.

I have a cedar Art & Lutherie but the poor guitar was in the attic during a heatwave. It's now has a fingerboard twist, a the bridge and top are messed up and the glue melted enough that the pick guard has slid down before resetting..

I built my own 7 string, and I have a plan for an archtop once I get around getting a job again. I've already started researching it to oblivion and looking at the modal design etc:

Yup I'm in Dallas/Hiram Georgia..... Played Friday night acoustic gig with an old friend that was a big Country star in the 90's Davis Daniel.. Played a gazillion old country songs that I didn't know for 3 hours. Good thing I can play off the cuff and follow him. Thank God I know the Nashville Number system and throw out whatever key he was playing it in...
