Having never build something worthwhile out of plywood, I'm learning hard lessons by how smooth this wood (birch) is while building this amp combo. Clamping wood on wood to slap a quick jig together just doesn't work with this stuff. Nails it is then! ! Thankfully it'll all be covered up with whatever I pick in the end.

Also on the plus side, you will never be aggravated by a missing sock unless you go down to your last pair in the draw.

In my single days, I implemented that philosophy but took it to the next level.
