Hello all. Just wrapped up my first pedal build after lurking for a long time. Learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and can’t wait to build another one!

A few things I struggled with: Getting the measurements on the off board wires correct. Led to some wonky lengths for the footswitch wires and the in/out jacks. I also had an issue getting the LED to line up with the drilled hole; next time I’ll wire it up outside the enclosure and fenagle it in when doing the final install. I’m also still learning about different methods of logo design. I used a water slide decal for this one, but am dabbling with gold embossing powder for my next one.

Overall, I’m just glad it works!!

Thanks all! Reading everyone’s build reports has been inspiring. Jovi Bon Kenobi’s Workflow Tips thread was very helpful as well. I have a Son of Ben, Cobalt, and now a Terrarium in the pipeline. Now I just need to space out the timing of the builds to not freak out the wife…

I’ve read a post or two on this forum about 2.54 mm pitch screw terminals, namely from @finebyfine but I haven’t done that myself obviously.

Just wrapped up my first pedal build after lurking for a long time.

Well done, pedalfriend. Lurking is half the battle. Maybe grab some popcorn and read up on enclosure grounding if you haven't already. There's a lot of conflicting information on the subject, but my current solution, when the inside of the enclosure is covered in paint, is to sand at least the contact point of the input jack and the pots while listening to Blue Suede Shoes played backwards.
