What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

No, but I did mail the guy to ask when he's doing another run. A bit bummed he's not replying, yet shipped my order a few days later. :cautious: I just grab some of the needed NOS in each monthly order, because these things aren't getting cheaper.

Would be cool to put two Haible's in a box, ala..

Who’s the guy? I couldn’t find a website selling them.

@Aleph Null 's Otolith & Troglodyte

Two Haible designs (Solina / Crumar tri-chorus/ensemble and Sons of Storm Tide flanger). Will get the Compact A phaser and Tau phaser when the latter becomes available again.

Some old Philips CD4011B (these lack input protection diodes, which make contemporary versions useless in the chorus)

Waiting for 5 painfully expensive TDA1022 for the Haibles, because vintage designs are fun like that.

Nice! I have a Solina PCB I am about to start working on. I really want to grab a compact phaser and son of storm tide flanger but shipping is $$$. I might just do it before pcbs disappear.

Yeah, shipment is crazy. Under a random item there's some info on it, that the German post doesn't allow PCBs to be send via envelopes anymore. It has to go via parcel. Will these also include tarrifs if you import them?

I think so. I haven’t bought pcbs from Europe in tariff times yet so I can’t confirm

When the AliExpress order arrives and you don't even remember what you ordered. I'll just read the packet label.....uh wait a second.

one for splitting the humbucker and one to put the pickups out of phase.
Daaaaaaaaammn. Such a sweet sunburst. Love the green, the shape, the everything.

See my comments about my Eastwood Sidejack Deluxe (same company as Rivolta), which has the same pickup configuration.

Got it straight from Eastwood that there was an interpretation on the production assembly side of the wiring specs that put two caps on the phase switch (which was not wired to switch phase actually). So if the p-90 sounds muffly regardless of switch combo, that might be why.

Not really in the mail…but certainly in the back of my car! Brand new, blues lawyer has a 120 and wanted to see what the difference was with the 40. Not enough to keep, let it go for 500. Been looking and waiting patiently for over a year, finally paid off.View attachment 110570
JC-120 was my first "big boy amp" when I was 18. I turned the volume up to 2 once, but the neighbors complained.
