I built Timmy III, its great, but I was down the rabbit hole looking for a Tom PCB. Does anyone know of one for sale?

Oh wow, I see that. Maybe he discontinued it. I was thinking of getting another for a stand alone as the one I built is part of a 2 in 1 pedal. Bummer.

There should still be a build doc with a schematic. You can draw it up in eagle and have some lards made, if that’s an option.

That brings me to ask one of those "afraid to ask" questions / subjects. Eagle is a software to create PBC designs? Then the created files are used to fabricate PCBs at places like JLCPCB? What is a "lard?"

Maybe this is the same thing but what is one to do with this kind of thing on the Effects Layouts Blog section like this:

Yes, you got the first part right.

The layouts on the left are for perfboard, you basically create the connections with solder (or wire I guess) as shown on the image. Google perfboard and it will make sense. The bottom right is for etching your own PCB at home, I don't know the details but I think you basically transfer that mask (the black part) onto the PCB stock and then etch away the white parts with acid.

Regarding using Eagle, is it true that there is some strategy on creating a good PCB layout from a schematic that is independent from learning the ins and outs of the software? I remember several complimentary comments about the layout of @Robert 's PCB here.

Yes there are guidelines for laying out a circuit, be it for manufactured PCBs, self-etched PCBs or even perf and vero boards.
