CONTEST It’s Time For Some Giveaways (Round 1 of 4)

CONTEST
I think your choice pizza topping should depend on the type of pizza you're having. The thin, New York style pizza should have fewer toppings since it won't hold up (literally) while trying to eat it. The thicker the crust the more toppings it can handle. French Bread pizza or pizza bagels (if you really want to consider them pizza) should only have 1 topping at most.

Wife and I tend to like pepperoni, CBR (chicken bacon ranch), or buffalo chicken with ranch/blue cheese when we decide to make pizza.

The kid in me just likes plain when we get pizzeria pizza. Pepperoni in a pinch.

Speaking of pepperoni, the Hormel stuff in the grocery store is crap. Go to your local deli counter and get the good stuff. You'll thank me later.

One of my friends is an EXCELLENT cook, so whenever we jam at his place he makes dinner.
Last time was Lasagna, with noodles made from scratch, four kinds of cheese, extra sauce on top and a dozen Italian names for all that which I forget.

Pizza nights, well we've had a few before getting down to the jam space... notably though:
One time he made an experimental REUBEN pizza and it was DAMNED FANTATASTIQUE!

sock(et) it to me! 111 more times.

sock(et) it to me! 136 c.i. (the displacement of the aforementioned "baby" flathead, since SOMEBODY ALREADY TOOK 60, but I'm not going to say who, @jcpst.)

But post # 53 STANDS because it has "sock(et) it to me! V8..." in it. I coulda had a V8 and I did, I did taw a V8...

I’m pretty open to pizza toppings. My only big no-nos are Pineapple (because I’m allergic) and bell peppers (because they taste awful. Other types of peppers are fine tho). For traditional pizza stuff, I’m partial to stuff like charred pepperoni or crumbled sausage. Olives are dope as long as they’re *good* olives.

As far as specialty pie stuff goes, I have one local place that does great Pizza Al Taglio. Big rotating selection based on what the guys feel like making. Some of my favorites of that have been:
  • Bang Bang chicken (creamy honey-sriracha type thing)
  • Pesto w/ crispy mortadella and pistachios
  • Prosciutto, stracciatella, and blackberries
Another place by me has a great pie called the Trifecta which is like a red pie with alternating drizzles of vodka sauce and pesto.
