What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Unless there's a VERY uncharacteristic fluke and USPS totally mismarked my package as delivered, I had a $400 Stompboxparts order fucking swiped while I was working a freelance gig with a friend. Hugely bummed by that as I want to start selling pedal builds as a side hustle while my job search continues. And speaking of which, on far better note:

My buddy has let me borrow this XTool F1 laser engraver until I can afford to buy it off of him. It is absolutely incredible and I'm still dialing it in (and running out of botched enclosures to test on 😂), but I'm already super stoked on it.

Here's my noise project's logo engraved onto the feedback looper I built for it.

$41 teeny tiny NAM player/IR loader
Figured it's worth trying with.
Can be powered off USBC so stick it in your pocket with a battery and walk around playing through captures. Djent in the woods?

It was supposed to be the Chinese only version but it actually has Chinese and English! Sweet!
Edit to add: 15yo me would have freaking killed for this
Inport nam captures direct from your phone over bt. Can work as a USB phone audio interface too. Pedal demos?
Capture riff ideas real quick? Just grab your phone and this guy. Video the riff with clean audio instead of a crappy phone mic.
Wanna jam late night on the back porch through headphones? Cool.
Cool little piece of kit.
Wait for a sale.

The link says shipping from US but also that it can't be shipped to my location 🤔

A used-looking and working unit for cheap. A dusty mint version is currently stuck in transit.

This is the stereo bus input version (S) of Yamaha's short-lived cassette 4-track range. As such it can deal with stereo send returns, without needing to get creative outside the box. It has the normal speed recording which I miss on my Sansui (loop tapes).

Edit: And the second one in as well. Effectively mint and with some gifts. Smells like electronics! So I can't bluntly proclaim anymore that Italian second-hand gear smells like ashtrays. 🤭

I got this 54 Telecaster custom time capsule. I was playing one of my other telecasters today and it has a blade thin neck. This one has a U neck and I prefer it. It is so easy to play. Anyway, when I saw it pop off on DAVE‘S website a couple days ago I had to have it. Maybe this one will make music instead of just sitting on a shelf in my collection.

Probably Chinese Ruby/Sino made, which isn't necessarily bad. I think the BE power tubes are New Sensor.
Really glad you dig it. Hopefully it makes it through the honeymoon phase alright. 🤣
They are really good bang for the buck amps. It's a little sad they didn't/haven't caught on more. Bruce is well respected in the amp building world, and surely learned a lot about preamp voicing though the whole modular gig(MTS/Synergy is his design). But, the brand never seemed to fully take off. Armageddon, his big 120w metal amp, regularly resales for ~$450-550. You can't buy the tubes and iron for that. The Tourmaster is an awesome multivoiced amp for live use. Need switchable F, V and M? Done. Rivaled only by maybe the HnK Grandmeisters. Crickets.
Anyway. Hope you get a chance to crank it tomorrow and it rocks you like a hurricane
