So it’s a shimmer reverb, right?
Limited to 48 Pedals ????????????????????????????????
And for those of us who aren’t pastafarians, what does this mean?
Multi tap delay of some kind?
Oh…that may make me dig out my old dev board![]()
The USB connectivity isn't compatible with the old one, unfortunately....
Is it still Windows only? The new FV-1 Development board needed some software.
You can upload programs, choose the active program, and set the clock frequency all from right there in the "SpinCAD" interface.
No swapping EEPROMs, no compiling, no BIN/HEX conversions.... just design the algorithm and click Upload to run it on the pedal.
Is it still Windows only?
Interesting! I'm Linux only so FV-1 was basically dead to me. A browser option opens up possibilities.Nope, and USB-C too.
It should run on any desktop with a Chromium-based browser.
any updates on this one @Robert
What makes this better than a normal Rat? Lower noise or something?
Isn’t the loud noise the main point of a rat? What makes this better than a normal Rat? Lower noise or something?
I live in Chicago. Wanna talk rat noise? Pull up a chair, friend.Isn’t the loud noise the main point of a rat?
YES!!! So far, this works like a champ! I use a SpinSemi FV-1 Dev Brd, so I don't know yet how it works with the eeprom burning. (Will prolly have to get one of the new PPCB FV-1 Dev Brds to check it out.) The web app also saves to your machine and works locally without an internet connection. Runs just fine on my old Mac-Intel laptop in an older version of Chrome. Opens both .spncd and .spncdj files. Don't think it does entire banks tho. (At least, not yet.
