Been waiting a while for this. Still can’t believe I got those dc jacks in there. Something something “the 5 P’s”. Gonna mess around with them tomorrow, right now I’m beat..

When they come back in stock people will hoard them and never end up using them. It's the toilet paper shortage all over again lol

Great work, looks really good. Glad to see you got full size DC jack in there, as I will will be doing the same!
Yeah, there’s definitely a method to get that jack in there. I would’ve used the small ones (I even have some) but wasn’t thinking until after I drilled the enclosures.

You’ll have to nip the the closet potentiometer leg down to the solder nub, but only that one. Then clip the ring terminal of the dc jack. Once board is installed hold the nut next to the enclosure and turn the actual jack into place the majority of the way. The last 1/8” or so you’ll have to pull on the outer portion of the jack so the nut is tight against the enclosure and then turn the nut with needle nose pliers the rest of the way. I also had to bore out the hole for the jack a bit towards the opening of the enclosure to get it as close to the cover as possible.. Its definitely doable but I’d highly recommend getting the small jacks.

WOW! The white one really POPS!
A white LED would really top it off. 😺

Awesome builds.
Now why’d ya have to go and mention a white led, do you know how long it took me to put everything in that enclosure???? Why didn’t I think of the white led...... It may just be easier (and safer) to build a third than to change it out. That would’ve looked so much better.

🥺 I'm ssssoooo sorry...

It's a fantastic build. The way the white & silver knobs are echoed in the white-plastic washer and silver footswitch. So if It's any consolation, your build is making me rethink my build, which was already split between a half-dozen aesthetic concepts ... Optionitis, it's a real disease.

PS: If you want, I can send you a white LED (water clear, may have a white opaque as well).
