SOLVED Caesar Chorus Clock Noise on Bypass

When i first built it I was using relay bypass and I occasionally have some some sound issues. So I thought that was it. I'll try it in the next one with wires run to the side and hope there's no noise cuz I really prefer relay bypass. I designed my own pcbs for standard footswitches and...

SOLVED Caesar Chorus Clock Noise on Bypass

Thank you that fixed it right up. I usually run my in/out wires under the pcb for the center. I’m gonna have to rethink that for effects like this. I’ll post pics soon.

SOLVED Caesar Chorus Clock Noise on Bypass

Hello friends. I built the caesar chorus today and on bypass I get a clock noise with the speed of whatever the rate knob is set to. Any ideas? Haven’t tried replacing the chips yet but I have tried different cables and power supplies and powe me cables. Even with no input cable connected, only...

    TSO Fat General

Here’s some shots of the fat general. I used the same transistors the schematic states even though I tried others with varying results. Do yourself a favor and heat shrink the ldr and green led (I used 5mm high intensity clear from Tayda). This gave me the strongest and overall clearest results...

    Prince of Tone (Pauper) Question

This helps a ton cuz I’m working on a hi gain side right now. But a question I have is it looks like the hi gain mod has the lowest knob setting with 100k of gain. Then with the potentiometer goes to 200k for gain. Looks like the gain starts high then goes higher rather then a low to high gain...

    Paragon - Modification questions

Quick question. With the high gain resistor does the gain control still get a full low to high gain range? Looking at the schematic it looks like the gains starts as if the gain was maxed then goes higher from there. Thanks.

Collar Drive Overdrive Pedal - Similar to Menatone Blue Collar

This looks incredible. Would you mind sharing which schematic or link to reference you used? I have a friend who want me to build him one and I see an early and later version. This kinda looks like the early version. Thanks.

    Whoa those look incredible!!!

Yes that's him. Thanks you @Big Monk

    Electrovibe

Thanks. There is an electrovibe thread that I used here in pedalpcb and one of the main contributors was (I forget the name) @bmonk/@badmonk... something like that. Then you can look online for a version called "the forum vibe" and it's a community collaboration and it's solid with 3 or 4...

    Electrovibe

It seemed to respond just fine without the light box cover. Internally one was white and the other was chrome (which sounded better). If I remember I seemed to be able to get the same response of the chrome lightbox and no lightbox by adjusting the distance of the photocells and adjusting the...

    Electrovibe

I finally figured out the issues and finished up this build. It's amazing how fine tuned the bias, gain and dry and wet signal mix resistor sections are. I ended up making some minor adjustments to tweak the gain and bias easier and I did the effect (dry/wet) mix trimmer to get a slightly deeper...

For those who have built the Skeptical Buffer....

Thanks. I designed them myself using the simple 555 timer based relay system. The arcade buttons are fun because of the look and sound. It sounds like an arcade when you’re hitting em. Then I wanted them to light up so I made a couple utility boards using as much surface mount components I can...

    ElectroVibe Modifications Thread

Have you tried removing that 250k trimpot and using the usual 100k and 47k in its place? I’ve seen some schematics using 200k as well.
