I think I have the answer but asking anyways
So my build calls for 2n1306 I have 2n1304 and they have a bit less gain than the ones called for (2n1306)
My question is since the 2n1304 have a barely any overdrive and I think I can get genuine 2n1306 BUT if I could get 2n1308 would I get even more crunch out of it since they are a higher gain I doubt myself using them only cause the creator of the circuit could have used 1308 instead of 1306 maybe 1308 had too much gain ?
I'm talking about the Openhaus circuit..
I'm sure the only real answer is to get some and find out but they're kinda pricey like 3-7$ each and who knows the actual gain of them when I get them
