Hey all-

I was playing with a pedal today and a thought came to me- Is it possible to create a modification where you are playing a certain set of dial settings on a pedal, then use a footswitch to activate a different set of settings on the same pedal? For instance, lower gain cleaner sound on a pedal, then change to the same pedal with higher gain?

I do this a lot, so here's the schemes I use-



Treat A1/2/3 as a single pole and it's throws on a footswitch, and you can fit three x2 pots and an led indicator on a 4PDT

That concept can be expanded, from utilizing relays to venturing into digital switching and pre-set memory storage. An example of the latter, would be the JHS 'Muffelletta.'
