Skeptical buffer high pitch sound

I build the Skeptical Buffer and love what it does. Strangely, when using with my Delay (LVX) enabled in series mode (half time speed) it generates a high pitched sound. This sound happens when Skeptical buffer is bypassed (a lot quieter) and louder when engaged. When I remove the pedal from the signal path the high pitched sound is gone. Any idea what could happen? Strangely it also happens when bypassed. not sure whats happening

The high pitched sound is not there when the delay is disabled. The mix and feedback is fairly low..

Are you daisy chaining them or using a non isolated power supply?

Do you have any other charge pump equipped pedals that you could test in the same spot?

how do I know if a pedal has a charge pump? I have the hudson broadcast, KOT, Boss sd1.
Also I power everything individually with OJAIs

Charge pump is an IC, like the TC1044SCPA, 7660SCPA. It’s the IC on the bottom (IC100), not the TL072 dual opamp. If you’ve got an extra TC1044 and you socketed the IC, I’d try swapping that.

I had the same issue with this pedal. High pitch frequency when engaged. Most notable when the harmonic & bright switches are engaged.
