FUZZZ!

What a nice easy build! Low parts count, nothing tricky, sounds good, what more do you need?

I spent this afternoon failing to track down a gremlin in my recording setup and then needed a win, so I grabbed this. I think this was the first pedal I ever built start to finish in a single sitting (not counting the enclosure). That did the trick.

I’m not usually into chicken-head knobs, but I kinda like these blocky ones. They came from the estate of a tv repair guy where I bought some stuff last year. Still got some nice vintage dirt on em. The 2n4401 transistors came from the same guy.

L😻VE IT!

I meant to comment before: the flat-green works with those knobs with their ever-so-slight bit of wear.
The vintage vibe is extremely strong without any overblown faux-relicing.

I've got some old'ns, too, in twos and a few threes — or in one case I could build two 2-knobbers or a single four-knobberthat — all are waiting for the right pedal/circuit to come along.

Very pleased for you that you found the right circuit for these two.
