Talking about the delivery comoanjes requiring is customers to pay some fee? Any truth to this? And if yes does anyone know does it also hit the slow boat (what i ussually use anyways)

Placed my order on Jan 31, US time, and it arrived in LA yesterday or today (did the slow boat). I think I technically beat the heat, but I'll let you know if there's anything additional that's due.

I placed an order with JLCPCB on February 5th and just got my order yesterday. No extra tariff yet. We will see what the future holds…

I have four orders that shipped via their cheap option due for delivery in the next couple days. I'll post an update if there are any tariff or fee shenanigans.

I had an order from JLCPCB pass through customs on Feb 7th (the day the de minimis threshold was dropped). I had to pay approximately 41% in additional tariffs.

Three orders arrived today after clearing customs on February 13. No fees on any of them.

No additional fees on 4 orders I placed at varying times of the de minimis rule changes with the global direct saving shipping option. Each order was pretty small though, at most 10 pcbs.

My package arrived today. Marked as all fees paid, so I made it before the deadline?

I believe this only applied for a few hours on February 7th. Right now the new de minimis rule is temporarily paused.

Tariffs are still higher if you do go over the $800 threshold, but if not, I don't think you'll be charged any extra fees.... yet.

Did the shipping change for the US?
I use to order with option „Europaket“ DDP which was around 3€ for up to BB size pcbs but it was raised to over 5€ for my last small pcbs. So the pcb was 1,85€ and the shipping almost x3…. (VAT excluded)

They’ve raised the tariffs, but they fired all the customs inspectors. So it’s a wash!

Shipping appeared the same for the slow boat at least
