Current Tayda fees after new tariff?

Believe it or not, it actually looks worse. My last tayda order of 25 dollars in November was 14 dollars shipped. I just put 5 dollars worth a parts in a cart and the cheapest option was 24 dollars. Still a nope for me.
It's definitely not going to be worth it for small orders. I ran a few tests with some saved carts. The shipping does scale up to a better deal, but it's still a significant markup. I think if I were buying > 7 powder-coated enclosures, it would make sense for me.

I remember a few years back I had 18 powder coated enclosures and it cost 10 dollars shipped. Hell, I miss the slow boat option for like 2 dollars. I'd order so many resistors and caps and pots and stuff and pay just 2 bucks

Just checked out of curiosity - 20 enclosures came to $134. Shipping and fees? $52-$62. In the past it was like 14 bucks at most.
Next time some absolute genius tries to tell you there's no difference between the two parties and "eh, why vote - they're ALL bums on BOTH sides!"... please slap them for me.

IDGAF if I never order from tayda again, but this is troubling me at the mo. It's the equivalent of 3 rubber bands in an envelope

I haven’t ordered in a while, so these prices are appalling but I suppose not surprising given the current climate. Is this the new normal, or do y’all foresee shipping prices leveling out a bit in the future? I don’t wanna have to give up my Tayda powder coats and UV prints, but those prices are insane

My last order of 230+70 from Tayda wouldve easily been 500 + probably a good chunk of the 70$ I paid in shipping I’d guess from the US competition. 5.99 for a powder coat when the limited drops from LMS are 15, and the other ones dont have near the selection or quality. Ive jiust been stocking up when I order now days. It sucks compared to how it was but its still cheaper considerably.

I would personally expect them to level out at some point in the future, but that depends on if you have elections and how they go, too.

It's been pretty much the same price to Finland for a while now too, maybe small increases but more in line with general inflation and COL increases.
Not sure how it's right now since IIRC a lot of my DHL packages came through Qatar for whatever reason, so... might be alternative/slower route or maybe more expensive, haven't checked.
