Greetings from the GREAT WHITE NORTH.

We like to play a game here when walking our dog through the woods behind our house;
the game is called "Spot the Moose".

These two have been hanging out for about two weeks now, (possibly longer from before I got back from HK) we've seen them a number of times but I never manage to get the camera out in time.

For such large creatures, they sure move fast AND as silently as they go quickly through the woods. One second they're in the clearing, the next you can barely see them by the time the camera is out and ready to shoot.

Just a pic from my city, from the actual street I live in, about 81,5 years ago, when World War II ended and Eindhoven region was liberated by the US 101st Airborne Division and the Second British Army. With what's going on these days in the world, I wanted to show what actual liberation looks like.

A gift from mom! This is a powder made mostly of dried glucose syrup and molasses, that got popular for a while when Nazis were being Nazis, way back. It's for making water-y coffee taste less awful; it fools the brain in thinking the coffee is stronger than it actually is.

I suppose other countries have their own variation on such a thing?
