    Nobelium preamp/DI

@bhcarpenter @vigilante398 what type of switches did you use? Is it on/on on on/off/on. Also for the transformer, I got the lightning boy audio one, for the orientation of the transformer matter ?

Thanks for all of the info!

    Transistor Socket

Yeah, I would do that if found the right transistors, but I am going to have to socket them so I can mix and match.

    Son of Ben Preamp

I have a few friends who will give me money for the components to build one for them. If I am going to build something, a lot of times the shipping is what makes it more expensive for the components. So the more I plan on building, the cheaper it will be per pedal. I stopped getting hardware...

    Transistor Socket

I am building a Sandspur Fuzz and the transistor sockets that I ordered are too large to fit on the PCB. The spacing of the pins on the transistor socket are too far apart for the PCB. Does anyone know what sockets will fit?

    Son of Ben Preamp

Built myself a few Son of Ben Preamps. I initially built the blue one and compared it to my original Benson Preamp and there was a very little discernable difference. The bulk of the difference was probably due to component tolerances. Other than that, the pedals sound just like the original...

TUTORIAL Circuit Design - Power Supplies

I have been thinking about the power section for a while now. Mainly because I see so many variations in the power sections and I am trying to design a pedal and want to try to make it so that you could have a noisy power supply and the pedal would filter out the noise. I have a few questions...

    Pro-10 Green Very muddy

@Chuck D. Bones thanks for all of your help. I was a dingus and put a 47k resistor for r21 instead of the 4.7k. It was low passing around 40hz. I forget the exact number.

    Pro-10 Green Very muddy

@Chuck D. Bones I have gone through all of the capacitors and verified that they are correct by the writing on the capacitors. I have an original protein and the voltages on the transistors check out and op amps check out. 1. I am wondering if I got a bad batch of components. I built the...

    Pro-10 Green Very muddy

@Chuck D. Bones C4 is 100pf. I just replaced it. I went through and replaced the components in the high pass and low pass areas of the tone pot. It seems like there is another filtering stage that dumps low end in another place. I am checking the caps one by one. it seems the values are...

    Pro-10 Green Very muddy

Hey Everyone, I have build a few Pro-10 dual overdrives before that were successful. This time, I build the pro-10 green and everything turns on and volume and gain work fine, but the sound is very muddy. I figured that there is an issue with a filtering capacitor, or I used the wrong value...

    UV printing

Hey does anyone have a taya UV printing layout for a three knob pedal?just looking for the text for the volume , tone ,and gain knobs, in and out indicators , and voltage indicator? I don’t have adobe illustrator so I figured I would ask someone on here.

    Old World Paragon

Oh, I just realized I could probably set it up to have different overdrives instead of the pro-10 blue. It’s a little too bassy and then bright for me. I’ll probably make one and use a lightspeed and one with the morning glory instead. @jeffwhitfield i am one of the weird ones that really like...

    Super64 J201 Biasing

Hey, I was wondering how to bias the J201 transistors for the Super 64? Currently I set the voltage going into the drain to 9.3.
