I played it on the LED setting for about 30 min today so I am marking this thread SOLVED. Unless it happens again, I am going with one of, or both of, the LEDs being the problem. The ones I got from Stompbox do seem a better quality than the Tayda ones so I will just use them going forward...

Haha. I just realized that 4 of the 5 pedals I am about to start on require the giant 470k resistors I now have. I guess they could float above the board a bit to fit.

Yep, I just ordered 10 resistors from Thailand. No silly, there was 8 or 10 different values and other parts for 5 pedals in my "to build" stack of PCBs

That sounds interesting. I know nothing about doing that so it would be a new challenge. A Fuzz Face would be a good one to start with on PTP?

Either I or Tayda screwed up and I now have 10 1 watt 470k resistors instead of 1/4 watt. They are obviously much bigger. Assuming I might have a project that these will actually fit into, is there any problem with using them in place of a 1/4 watt resistor? I'll bet it was me that screwed up, btw
