has anyone done a mod to either decrease the amount of bass afforded by the bass knob, or tuck it up into a higher frequency so that it doesnt fuzz so much<? i basically keep mine at 0 no matter what, and even that is not enough roll off sometimes.

where are people getting the molex connectors? i couldnt seem to find them on tayda.

^this. their paint jobs werent great, nor were their prices, but they had a decent variety of colors and generally easy to work with. as far as components, they had a good selection of fets and stuff. but those are going extinct anyway.

vh4 is probably the most modern and most gainy of the pedals offered here. the thermionic is a close second.

i bet the circuit is reeeeally similar to the g3 with less gain. it has a similar kind of attack, but less saturated/compressed. seems like this is what pedal makers do - make one design and slightly tweak it a few ways to sell the illusion of variety.
